The Surrey, with a $12,000.00 a night presidential suite booked by the likes of Oprah Winfrey, is New York City's only Relais & Chateaux hotel. Tasked with high-level concepting for a full rebrand, I conceived of the positioning campaign "Privately New York" and all supporting copy. The original poetry and cursive handwriting used in the design are also mine, from brochure to Town and Country ad to shopping bag.

A historic uptown Beaux-Arts hotel with a client base of businessmen and leaders, The Benjamin wanted to highlight its offerings to appeal to its upscale guest. Tasked with a full rebrand, I pitched and implemented the hotel's "be at your best" positioning, which highlighted the ways its services and amenities support successful lifestyles.

The James, a hotel brand in three markets (Chicago, New York, and now West Hollywood) is a luxury "boutique alternative" hotel with a focus on art and design. I was the voice of The James all throughout my time at MME, also contributing my original handwriting as part of its creative look and feel.

I worked alongside an art director to rebrand the Affinia Hotel Collection, a disparate group of boutique hotel properties needing a cohesive look, feel, and positioning. Using a "Goldilocks approach", I came up with a  tagline to highlight each hotel's personality. It conveys that depending on the guest's unique preferences, there's an Affinia "just right" for everyone. These are two of five rack brochures written and designed under the new branding.

I voiced Harry & David for almost two years, covering all their print and digital copy. Of all the projects, I liked writing the emails best, as they allowed me to focus on one product and really romance it.

Another youth marketing campaign I loved to pieces: Pepsi's Dew DIY campaign, centered around their signature chartreuse soda loved by students nationwide. To better connect the brand to its college audience, we held a contest: create branded inventions for a chance to win a cash prize.

Aside from naming one of his products (Prime Spot, sister restaurant to Primehouse in Chicago) I wrote print and digital copy to promote Chef David Burke's other restaurants: Primehouse, Primehouse Bar, David Burke Kitchen, and Burke's Bacon Bar.

Proprietary restaurant of Food Network's Iron Chef Geoffrey Zakarian, The National Bar and Dining Rooms is one of The New York Times' 50 Favorite Restaurants. In writing for The Benjamin Hotel, I also voiced The National.

The Tasting Panel is a wine & spirits magazine based in Sacramento. I was commissioned to cover bars, brands, and featured bartenders in the New York market.

NOMO Soho

I was tasked with renaming The Mondrian Soho, a prominent boutique hotel. With the aesthetic of an industrial terrarium, NOMO keeps the cast iron and cobblestone authenticity of Soho while celebrating the fashion and culture of the digital age. 

NOMO means "Name" in the antique global language of Esperanto. It is intended to align with the Soho acronym and stand for nostalgic + modern.

Habitat for Humanity NYC is a non-profit organization that helps low-income families move into safe, affordable housing. Their end-of-year giving campaign required a strong impact on a tight budget. I helped to develop a universal concept: save yourself time and money. Screw shopping for junk. We pushed the message through a strong call-to action across social platforms, garnering a 40% increase in donations in 2016.

One of my first assignments as a copywriter was to develop content for Chase's Go Green campaign, targeting college students and fostering brand engagement. This is the campaign's Facebook app, which touts a sweepstakes benefiting the winner's whole campus.

Western Union needed print and digital consistent with their new look and feel: big bold type, new lockup with THIS IS conceit, minimal copy and a punchy presentation. Along with my art director I brought it to life across emails, DM, brochures, signage and mobile.

This was a product I really believed in: Eloquii by The Limited, a plus-size women's clothing line. I loved the designs and the positive impact they could have on body image. It was my first foray into fashion.

In spring 2017, I accepted a Senior CW role working on Roche Diagnostics at Iris Worldwide in Munich. There, I worked on campaigns for HIV prevention, HPV awareness, and antibiotic resistance education, as well as copy for diagnostic solutions.

Though most of my work on Roche was HCP-facing, the campaign work spoke to patients as well, which required a dual tone of technical and emotional. Helping people is of great importance to me, so although I'm new to healthcare, I find its humanitarian quality suits me.

I love Ensure. I think it’s the best tasting meal replacement beverage on the market. So I was super excited to not only work on a social campaign for a consumer product, but one I genuinely love.

The ask was to create Facebook posts for Ensure, both paid and organic, targeting customers age 45 and over. Each was to align with one of three strategies outlined by the client: inspire, educate, or add value to the brand.
